Fashion In The 1920s  

In the 1900s women wore long dresses that went to the floor with a train, women wore corsets and the hour glass figure was in style during this time period. fashion houses were presenting new silhouettes with thicker waist and flatter bust with narrower hips. the entire women wore a lot stricter back then. when the 1920s come rolling along the fashion started to change, women got ride of the tight corsets and moved alone with shorter dresses and sometimes even trousers. this was the first time ever women legs were shown in public. women also started to wear high heels that were 2-3 inches tall. women dressed more freely and more comfortable then they ever had before as social customs has become more relaxed. 1920s was the time women got more freedom and more respected as people. they had more jobs and more rights. life was dramatically different for women after the war and life was a lot better too.
